• Are Text Messages The New Way of Dating?

    Hello, my friends!

First, I want to thank all of you that took your time to comment on my last “What is to be a Cool Girl” post. I wrote with the intention to remind the importance of giving to receive in our lives.

After all the comments I had, it seems quite a few people have a similar situation as the Cool Girl and Mr. Nono. One of most popular comment it was about exchanging text messages or WhatsApp messages and what is the best way to deal with the situation. I found this time of the year the perfect time to write this post since it seems that all Mr. or Ms. Nono’s take advantage of the holiday time to make their big comeback using text messages.

  • New Year, New ideas and looks

The New year is approaching bringing the idea of renovation to all of us. The biggest question is: What do you need to innovate in 2017? Let’s set our goals at the beginning and start to put in practice. If you didn’t plan your 2017 yet, it is time to do it!

There so many parties happening around NYC for New Years Eve, a lot of Events to go if you are in the Big Apple during this time of the year. You can go to Times Square to see the ball dropping, just be ready for the low temperatures outside and expect a big crowed around you. They usually sell pre packages for the NYE parties, but you can still find Events to go after midnight for affordable prices or even for free if you are in a mood to celebrate all night long. I will be attending a party at the Gansevoort Rooftop at the Meatpacking district, celebrating my New Year’s Eve in a big style.

  • Holidays with Dunkin Donuts and Irish Coffee Caipi

Holidays is the perfect time for inspirations and new creations, especially in NYC when there are lights, decorations, ornaments and Christmas trees all over. This time also marks the beginning of the winter season and the warm drinks that come along with it. Who doesn’t like to have a warm coffee by the fireplace while opening the presents? I do…

With that idea serving as inspiration for a holiday cocktail, Miss Caipi created an Irish Coffee drink to warm up your spirits! A few days ago, I had the opportunity to meet Noura, a very talented Culinary Artist from a Dunkin Donuts located on Long Island. She introduced me to her holiday Donuts creations for the season, which are considered the best ones done among all the company’s branches all over USA. While photographing her creations and chatting, it came to my mind this would be the perfect opportunity for Miss Caipi to come up with a drink creation, a drink that could be paired with Noura’s Holiday Donuts and one of Dunkin Donuts seasonal coffee flavors. • Holiday Look Inspirations

    Hello My friends!

It’s been a long time since I’ve really written a post, I have so many things going at the same time! I think for most of people the end of the year is naturally a super busy time when you try to finish everything before the year is over. But I have so much to share with you about my new ideas and content I am working on for the following year. Most of the time you can see my outfits on my page under the “Shop Style” tab that takes you directly to links of all the outfits. Usually I try to pick similar looks with affordable prices so you don’t need to spend a lot to get the same clothes and accessories, please make sure to stop by to check it out!

Holiday season in NYC is full of lights, decorations and interesting creations along the way with it. It usually inspires me to wear holiday looks like a more fun sweaters in addition to pieces I have in my closet, creating a holiday look mix and match. I also picked a velvet piece for the night look; Velvet is present in pretty much everything during this season, in shoes, accessories, clothing. To be on trend with your wardrobe, you should at least consider a velvet piece in your closet.

  • What is it to be a “Cool Girl”?

Once somebody defined me as a “Cool Girl” and after listening to a friend’s sad love story, I started to think about my own.  I am creating “ The Diary of a Cool Girl” category to share life behind the scenes of “Being a Cool Girl” and other stories that come along with the subject. The pictures I am using is to illustrate what it means to be a “Cool Girl.”

First, let’s answer, “What is a cool girl?” She is the one that has both the looks and personality, the one that is nice, smiles and makes everybody happy. She is the real package in people’s eyes, so true that nobody would think that a person like her would have a problem getting anything in life. They believe that she has the solution to every problem and she can figure out everything. The reality is very different for this type of girl. To tell you the truth, everything for us is twice as hard to get than for anybody else. Most of the time people are scared of us and only when you are in a cool girl’s skin will you know how it works.

  • Holiday Sales Bargains and Vegan Shakes

Holiday Season is starting and I could find some great Holiday Sales bargains for Columbus Day at H&M and a great place for super natural smoothies called Summers in Soho to share with you.

It is amazing how you can build an outfit for only $14 digging through H&M’s sales racks! You can find simple dresses for only $10 witch you can accessorize in your own style and build a great day look. That’s exactly what I did with the sales bargains I found there this time. Shopping around sales items can be a little tricky, you have to be very careful  to not get lost around all these $7, $10 bargains and ending up with a bunch of unnecessary pieces in your closet. The best advice I can give you it is to get the pieces that you think you can possibly pair with others ones you already have it; and when you get home try everything mix and match and if you have a second thought that you won’t be able to wear or pair with anything just return the unnecessary items.
