Every Cool Girl deserves a Cool Cocktail in her life! then Miss Caipi came out with The Cool Girl cocktail inspired by the blog post, “What is it to be a Cool Girl”, to pair with the Mr. Nono drink originating: The Cool Cocktail’s Line.
As The Mr. Nono drink, The Cool Girl cocktail will have different versions according to the season, using a different fruit or a different ingredient. The drink was created personalized according to a Cool Girl’s taste since I am one by heart it was not that difficult to figure out the perfect balance for this one! (more…)
The New year is approaching bringing the idea of renovation to all of us. The biggest question is: What do you need to innovate in 2017? Let’s set our goals at the beginning and start to put in practice. If you didn’t plan your 2017 yet, it is time to do it!
There so many parties happening around NYC for New Years Eve, a lot of Events to go if you are in the Big Apple during this time of the year. You can go to Times Square to see the ball dropping, just be ready for the low temperatures outside and expect a big crowed around you. They usually sell pre packages for the NYE parties, but you can still find Events to go after midnight for affordable prices or even for free if you are in a mood to celebrate all night long. I will be attending a party at the Gansevoort Rooftop at the Meatpacking district, celebrating my New Year’s Eve in a big style.
Holidays is the perfect time for inspirations and new creations, especially in NYC when there are lights, decorations, ornaments and Christmas trees all over. This time also marks the beginning of the winter season and the warm drinks that come along with it. Who doesn’t like to have a warm coffee by the fireplace while opening the presents? I do…
With that idea serving as inspiration for a holiday cocktail, Miss Caipi created an Irish Coffee drink to warm up your spirits! A few days ago, I had the opportunity to meet Noura, a very talented Culinary Artist from a Dunkin Donuts located on Long Island. She introduced me to her holiday Donuts creations for the season, which are considered the best ones done among all the company’s branches all over USA. While photographing her creations and chatting, it came to my mind this would be the perfect opportunity for Miss Caipi to come up with a drink creation, a drink that could be paired with Noura’s Holiday Donuts and one of Dunkin Donuts seasonal coffee flavors. I’m starting to use pre-made natural Cocktail mixers I can find in the local supermarkets or online to create my Caipis (Brazilian Cocktails). Since Miss Caipi is all about finding ways to make simple and natural drinks that you can easily create on your own, I am starting to look for cocktail mixers in local stores like Wholefoods, or online to test, witch has a huge growing market right now. I think the biggest challenge for us, consumers, is that we never know how these products will taste and I am here to solve this problem. At least in the products I get a chance to taste and test I can certainly share my honest opinion with you. (more…)
I am very excited the Olympic Games are happening in Brazil this year, and even more special is that it is in Rio, my hometown. I always loved watching the competitions and I admire the dedication and motivation of all the athletes competing at the Olympic Games.
The Olympic Games represent the union of all the continents in one place sharing all the energy surrounded by the Event. To celebrate all the confraternization created by the Olympics, I was inspired to make the “The Olympic Caipi Cocktails”, mixed with natural ingredients found in Brazil: Guarana, fresh coconut water, and different fruits to represent the ring colors. A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to display and serve the drink I created for Grand Central Beauty, The “Grand Central Beauty Caipi”, they could have their signature cocktail to be served during a meet-and-greet pop-up event in Brooklyn. And, everyone loved the fresh and cooling taste of it! As Miss Caipi, I create signature cocktails for companies, so they can have their personalized cocktail using in their parties, Events or as a type of brand identity for their business.
Miss Caipi, as you noticed always wear her yellow looks wherever she passes around sharing her Brazilian happiness and cocktails. For this Event she was wearing a yellow romper paired with a rockbox blue necklace and carrying her satchel yellow bag with all her mixology tools.

Looking for a nice restaurant for dinner in South Beach, Florida? Meat Market is my recommendation! I finished my trip to Miami with a delicious seasonal dinner at this fantastic place. They have numerous other locations in Florida, but the one I always go to is the original location on Lincoln Road in South Beach.
Nice ambience, modern decor, trendy crowd, a hot spot for models; you can chat with interesting people while lounging in the bar. Or, you can run into the love of your life there who may be sitting right next you. You never know!
The kitchen is run by chef Sean Brasel, one of the most renowned chefs in Miami. With his creativity and versatility, a classy steakhouse taste is combined with a modern touch of today which surely takes a good effort and ability to achieve such a great combination. And he most definitely has perfected it! Chef Sean has a range of options for all the tastes in his menu, catering to a salad person like me with his delicious Quinoa Salad. Or, if you’re a big fan of seafood you can start with a fresh ceviche. And, if you are a steak lover, it’s his specialty.
I was in Miss Caipi’s colors wearing a yellow flowing dress, by Bebe, paired with a green aqua necklace combined with my Miami sun-kissed tan! For dinner I had the famous Quinoa Salad. Obviously, for my drink I was having my refreshing Mint Caipi specially made for me by the bar. Their drink menu has different tropical drinks using herbs and refreshing ingredients. The Lychee Martini and Mojito are excellent options for a seasonal drink. I highly recommend trying them.
I ended my dinner with a sorbet made from a selection of a tropical fruits, a perfect end to a hot sunny day. For the grand finale Chef Sean stopped by for a quick chat before I left, between his cooking and chopping, to share his inspirations, secrets and suggestions for his summer menu. As a creator myself I love to exchange ideas with the great masters in the business: (more…)
Celebrating July 4th with the Ginger Caipi! The celebration, the fireworks, and not to mention it’s a nice break from work during the hottest time of the year.
Independence day in Brazil is right after the end of August, on September 7th. But even though it’s in the fall months of the year, Brazil still gets pretty hot around that time much. Like in New York City, people gather in parades on the streets of Rio de Janeiro and party during Independence Day. There’s always good food and music. I always cherished the time I could spend with my extended family. Here in New York City, I love watching the fireworks over the Hudson river and partying with my friends, sharing with them my favorite drink: The Ginger Caipi. You can make the Ginger Caipi too, by following my easy steps.
Since I’m Brazilian I wanted to keep my culture alive with this drink so I used Cachaca but you can chose either Vodka or Sake to attain the same taste. I have mixed together the tanginess of lemon with the sweetness of the agave nectar light for a healthy and flavorful drink. I know a lot of people who dislike ginger, but the lemon and agave nectar counteracts the strong kick and only leaves a very mild taste that I promise is very refreshing. (more…)
