Every Cool Girl deserves a Cool Cocktail in her life! then Miss Caipi came out with The Cool Girl cocktail inspired by the blog post, “What is it to be a Cool Girl”, to pair with the Mr. Nono drink originating: The Cool Cocktail’s Line.
As The Mr. Nono drink, The Cool Girl cocktail will have different versions according to the season, using a different fruit or a different ingredient. The drink was created personalized according to a Cool Girl’s taste since I am one by heart it was not that difficult to figure out the perfect balance for this one! (more…)
I am so happy to finally be able to share the recipe, Miss Caipi, created for the Mr. Nono Cocktail. I already introduced the recipe during the “Give To Receive” Pop Shop Event during the holidays. The name Mr. Nono, it is the name of a character introduced on the Blog post ” What Is It to Be a Cool Girl”, people really loved the funny name!
I might come out of other versions of this drink using the same name, maybe different fruits depend on the season and the circumstances of the Event. The drink was mixed under the Mr. Nono mood, mysterious and not sweet at all. I used angostura bitters, lemon juice and a splash of orange juice and a touch of honey to balance all the ingredients. It can be mixed with Sake, Vodka or even bourbon. If you are not the type that like sweet drinks, this one will suit you perfectly. Let’s learn how to make a Mr. Nono Caipi! (more…)
A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to display and serve the drink I created for Grand Central Beauty, The “Grand Central Beauty Caipi”, they could have their signature cocktail to be served during a meet-and-greet pop-up event in Brooklyn. And, everyone loved the fresh and cooling taste of it! As Miss Caipi, I create signature cocktails for companies, so they can have their personalized cocktail using in their parties, Events or as a type of brand identity for their business.
Miss Caipi, as you noticed always wear her yellow looks wherever she passes around sharing her Brazilian happiness and cocktails. For this Event she was wearing a yellow romper paired with a rockbox blue necklace and carrying her satchel yellow bag with all her mixology tools.

Celebrating July 4th with the Ginger Caipi! The celebration, the fireworks, and not to mention it’s a nice break from work during the hottest time of the year.
Independence day in Brazil is right after the end of August, on September 7th. But even though it’s in the fall months of the year, Brazil still gets pretty hot around that time much. Like in New York City, people gather in parades on the streets of Rio de Janeiro and party during Independence Day. There’s always good food and music. I always cherished the time I could spend with my extended family. Here in New York City, I love watching the fireworks over the Hudson river and partying with my friends, sharing with them my favorite drink: The Ginger Caipi. You can make the Ginger Caipi too, by following my easy steps.
Since I’m Brazilian I wanted to keep my culture alive with this drink so I used Cachaca but you can chose either Vodka or Sake to attain the same taste. I have mixed together the tanginess of lemon with the sweetness of the agave nectar light for a healthy and flavorful drink. I know a lot of people who dislike ginger, but the lemon and agave nectar counteracts the strong kick and only leaves a very mild taste that I promise is very refreshing. (more…)
It is Pineapple Mint Caipi drink time today! I came up with the Frozen Pineapple Mint Caipi creation last summer while trying to create a drink with a different concept of the Caipirinha to increase sales of the Leblon Cachaca. I hoped to show the versatility of cachaca comparing two totally different drink conceptions, while selling the product in liquor stores. (more…)
To “spice” things up, I decided to create a Glogg Caipi. Being fascinated by the wonderful Swedish culture, of course I had to create a caipi inspired by the country’s traditional drink, Glogg. The Glogg is an original Swedish craft non alcoholic mulled wine that entails a warm, sweet, and spiced taste. It is usually consumed during the holiday season, for the cinnamon ingredient is the perfect fix for crafting this alcoholic beverage.
As you all may know, I create all of my caipis from natural ingredients. I use fresh fruit juice mixed with any three specific spirits that are the healthiest choices of alcoholic consumption. So with that being said, I am going to break down the most preferred caipi by consumers in the winter, the “Berries15” Caipi.
The Berries15 Caipi is a seasonal drink as it reflects the jubilance of the holidays mixed with the chilliness of the cold air. The key component of this caipi is the fresh muddled cranberries. Cranberries contain antioxidants and phytonutrients, for they contribute to maintaining long term health, if you cannot find the cranberries they can be replaced by cherries and also this drink can turn into a terrific punch bowl option drink to enjoy with friends. According to Organic Lifestyle Magazine (Cranberry Health Benefits), cranberries prevent breast, colon, prostate, and lung cancer, along with fighting urinary tract infections. Pomegranates are essential too, for Med-Health.net (Benefits of Pomegranates) states that the fruit helps build bone structure and contains potassium that helps to maintain cellular functions and balance fluid levels. Since Valentine’s day is dedicated to embrace friendship and our loved ones, there is nothing better than celebrating with a personalized Valentine’s day cocktail. The XOXO Caipi is a personalized cocktail created for my sweet friend, Melissa Fiore.
Melissa is a very sweet girl and loves everything that are kisses & hugs themed. From bags, shoes, clothing… You name it, she has it! If you visit her blog, Melissa Fiore blog , and her instagram page, you can get a better idea of Melissa’s style.
This Caipi contains a low sugar content, which Melissa adores since she is a strict dieter and a lover of natural ingredients. The drink also has an organic strawberry mix. I used Sake according to her preference, orange liqueurs, and coconut water. It turned out really tasty. The XOXO Caipi can be done in a non alcoholic version too by replacing the orange liqueur for orange juice and eliminating the Sake. (more…)
What inspired this new caipi is the classic “Grasshopper” drink. The Grasshopper consisted of a sweet and creamy delicacy. Much like this martini, the “Studio 54” Caipi provides the same tasteful experience, but instead substitutes the fresh cream with coconut milk and includes fresh fruit. “Studio 54” can also be a non-alcoholic drink by excluding the liquor listed below. Enjoy!
Studio 54 Caipi
1.5 oz. Cachaca, Vodka, or Sake
2 oz. Coconut milk
½ pear
4 mint leaves
2 ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you have a smooth consistency.
Garnish with mint leaves and a disco ball!
